T-Rex Expanding Wild: Free Spins on Casino Plus?

The T-Rex Expanding Wild is the Wild T-Rex, the dinosaur symbol in Casino Plus' slot that substitutes for others in the base game and spreads during free spins. On a normal spin it lands on the center reel, and during free spins it can turn dinosaur symbols into additional wilds. The feature is random and does not guarantee a payout.

Which Symbol Is the T-Rex Expanding Wild?

The expanding wild is the Wild T-Rex, and the first thing to get right is which game you are reading about. Casino Plus documents this feature on its official T-Rex page, while RTG lists a separate T-Rex II release with different published specifications, so this guide follows the Casino Plus T-Rex rules rather than mixing the two.

That distinction matters because the behavior described below is taken from Casino Plus's T-Rex documentation — the version you can actually play there.

How Is the Expanding Wild Different From a Regular Wild?

A regular wild only substitutes where it lands, filling a single spot to help complete a line. The Wild T-Rex can do more during free spins, where Casino Plus's page says it transforms dinosaur symbols into additional wilds.

That transforming behavior is what earns it the "expanding" label. The official page does not describe it filling an entire reel, so treat it as a symbol transformation rather than a full-reel expansion unless the in-game rules say otherwise.

What Does the Wild T-Rex Do in the Base Game?

On a normal paid spin, the Wild T-Rex appears on the center reel and substitutes for regular symbols to help form winning combinations along the 25 paylines. In this phase it works as a substitute, not a board-changing feature.

The transforming behavior is held for free spins, so during base play the wild mainly helps complete the lines it lands on. That is how the feature is meant to work and not a sign anything is "due."

How Does the Expanding Wild Behave During Free Spins?

Free spins are where the T-Rex expanding wild lives up to its name. During the round, Casino Plus's page says the Wild T-Rex can transform dinosaur symbols into additional wilds, so more wilds can appear on the same spin.

🦖 Confirmed by Casino Plus: during free spins, the Wild T-Rex can transform dinosaur symbols into additional wilds.
⚠️ Not specified: whether it fills a whole reel, affects only certain symbols, or caps how many wilds appear.

The transformation can help complete winning combinations, but it does not guarantee a payout. Outcomes stay random, so it happens on its own rather than through any input, timing, or stake from you.

How Do You Trigger the Free Spins?

The free spins round is triggered by landing three or more scatter egg symbols on the reels. Once it starts, you play a set number of free spins where the wild can transform symbols without using your balance.

The exact number of free spins is set by the game and shown in its own rules, so check the info screen for the current figure. No bet size or timing makes the eggs appear sooner, because the trigger is random.

What Do the Reels, RTP, and Volatility Tell You?

Casino Plus lists T-Rex as a 5-reel, 25-fixed-payline game with a published RTP of around 97.5% and high volatility. High volatility means wins land less evenly, which is why Casino Plus notes that most of the larger payouts come from the bonus rounds rather than regular spins.

Keep these ideas separate: RTP is a long-run average, not a promise for your session, and volatility describes how unevenly wins arrive rather than when one is coming. In my reading of the feature, the base-game wild mostly helps complete the line it touches, while the free-spins transformation is where it becomes more noticeable.

Where Can You Play T-Rex and Other RTG Slots on Casino Plus?

You can play T-Rex on Casino Plus, and the clearest place to confirm its features and rules is the official T-Rex page. When you pick a slot bet casino platform, it helps to check its regulatory information and game rules rather than relying on claims about guaranteed wild features.

Casino Plus is regulated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), and play is limited to adults aged 21 and over.

Once you know how the expanding wild works, you can explore other RTG games on Casino Plus, such as Lucha Libre, Bubble Bubble 3, Asgard, and Super 6 — all from the developer Realtime Gaming.

Set time and money limits before you start, and never chase losses.
Treat the game as entertainment, and stop when it stops being fun or feels hard to control.

If gambling ever feels like a problem, the National Problem Gambling Helpline offers free, confidential, 24/7 support at (02) 8248-9568, and you can apply to PAGCOR's Online Self-Exclusion program if play becomes hard to control.

So, What Should You Remember About the Expanding Wild?

The practical takeaway is simple: the Wild T-Rex helps complete lines in the base game and can do more during free spins, but you cannot make it appear or spread, and it never guarantees a win. Treat it as a feature to enjoy rather than a system to beat.

Check Casino Plus' official T-Rex rules for the specifics, set time and money limits, and stop when it stops being fun.

What Else Do Players Ask About the Expanding Wild?

Can the Expanding Wild Affect More Than One Payline?

🧠 Yes. The Wild T-Rex substitutes for regular symbols, so a single wild can help complete more than one of the 25 paylines on the same spin.

Does the Wild T-Rex Transform Every Dinosaur Symbol?

🧠 The official Casino Plus page confirms that dinosaur symbols can become additional wilds during free spins, but it does not specify whether every dinosaur symbol transforms.

Does the Wild T-Rex Expand Across an Entire Reel?

🧠 The official page says the wild turns dinosaur symbols into additional wilds, but it does not say the wild fills a whole reel. Treat full-reel expansion as unconfirmed.

Can More Than One Wild T-Rex Appear During Free Spins?

🧠 Yes. The page says dinosaur symbols can transform into additional wilds during free spins, so more than one wild can be on the reels at once. How many is not specified, so check the in-game rules.

Does the Expanding Wild Guarantee a Winning Combination?

🧠 No. It can help more paylines complete, but it does not guarantee a payout, and each spin's result stays random.

Is the T-Rex Expanding Wild the Same as a Multiplier?

🧠 No. It adds more wild symbols so additional paylines can complete, which is different from a multiplier that increases the value of a win.

Does the Feature Behave Differently Between T-Rex and T-Rex II?

🧠 T-Rex and T-Rex II have different published game specifications, but the available documentation does not establish an exact comparison of their Wild mechanics. Treat them as separate games and follow the in-game rules for whichever one you open.
